Position Description: Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services (IWS) is the second largest provider of custody and brokerage services to the registered investment advisor marketplace, with over $355 billion in assets on behalf of more than 3,8000 RIA, bank trust and TPA clients as of June 31, 2008. As part of IWS'deployment team, the Deployment Project Manager will partner with the Asset Conversion team in order to ensure the seamless transition of Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) utilizing IWS' technology products with minimal direction; This includes monitoring new client relationships, and managing the overall integration of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) products, Advent's APX portfolio management solution, Financial Planning tools and other IWS technology products. The individual will manage mid to large, complex projects with minimal or no direction. These projects will invariably require the development of customized project plans to implement RIAs on new product offerings for IWS. The Product Deployment Analyst must have the ability to manage projects involving multiple internal and external stake holders and successfully coordinate the activities of multiple Fidelity departments to facilitate various product deployments. Primary Responsibilities:Utilize Project Management techniques to plan and coordinate the configuration, installation, and conversion of registered investment advisors (RIAs) onto the IWS Technology Platform; This includes:o Manage and finalize legal agreements among RIAs, Fidelity and Fidelity's Business Partners.o Work with the Implementation Asset Conversion team, Sales and Relationship Management teams to configure the CRM and Financial Planning products for each Advisor based on their business needs and workflowso Validate, and test with the client to confirm product configuration is correcto Train the client through the various IWS technology products in order to ensure it conforms to client expectations.o Ensure client is proficient in the use of the IWS technology product offeringAct as the point person for the IWS CRM and Financial Planning tools to address and resolve all outstanding issues prior to conversion completionAnalyze the procedures, products, and business practices of the client to align with IWS' policies and proceduresWork with the Implementation Asset Conversion team to transition the client to the Fidelity Product Support team upon conversion completion. Qualifications:Education and Experience
:Bachelor's degree in business or finance or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in business preferred.Minimum 7 years in financial services industry, including experience in an institutional or high net worth client management/relationship building role.Has an in-depth understanding of financial services and Fidelity's products and servicesSkills and Knowledge
