I'm still alive. Like a lot of people, I'm struggling during the economic
disaster, so I simply haven't had time to put into Unum, et al.
However, someone asked my address, and I don't want Xmas cards, thanks, or

Since Unum victims are often down in the dumps, I like to recommend what I feel
are truly salutary self-help books - books of value that have depth and come
from authors who know what they are talking about, not authors who just repeat
old "positive thinking" bromides they have read here and there. Here is a

The rumors of my death are unfounded. Although at my age, others I know are
starting to pass on.
I received a letter in the mail that my oldest, best, wisest and most helpful
internet friend, Judy Fitzgerald, had died. Like many Unum victims, she had
CFS. She was a veritable lifesaver at times, Like an older sister with a lot
more common sense than I. If I had asked her advice I probably wouldn't be in
the mess I'm in now. I loaned my Arizona startup money to a very plausible and
credible swindler and his daughter, who were supposedly about to go homeless
due to a cashflow gap, but had an incredibly good business going. The money was
going to come right back but didn't - all that came back was a lot of obvious
lies - and I've been struggling ever since. I'm entirely too trusting at my
age, but when you're honest yourself you think others are ;')? And these people

One More Fighter Down
Just a very quick announcement. I am sad to relate that Dr. Judy Morris, the
original inspiration for this site, passed away yesterday. Of course, she died
before Unum had paid her fairly - thats the game of these vile men (and women).
Just wait people out until they die, go crazy or give up.
Since I am not yet sure who is handling her affairs, any condolences, cards, or
letters can be sent to my usual box number and I will bundle and forward them
when I find out.
I know I haven't done newsletters for awhile. I'm doing what good old George
