• This Sr. Consultant role requires an individual contributor who has demonstrable 'hands on' experience on a full life cycle Retail Bank delivery channel project.• Responsible for gap analysis and gathering and documenting business requirements.• The successful candidate will interact with clients on a daily basis and must have solid communication skills.• Will also assist business development teams with writing and presenting proposals for large or complex projects.Requirements:• Must have 5+ years of experience in a Retail Banking environment. A combination of consulting and general Retail Banking industry experience is preferred. Experience may include but is not limited to backgrounds such as Branch Management, Business Analyst, Project Management, Software vendor/implemention of retail bank products/solutions.• Must have 3+ years working on project teams to implement solutions, products and business processes surrounding Retail Banking operations and Delivery Channel.• Strong consulting skills are preferred including ability to analyze fact patterns, present alternatives and recommendations to Senior Management as well as plan, execute and control engagements.• Expertise in retail banking operations and technology (front and back office)• Subject Matter Expertise in bank operations and payments processing and technology is required including extensive knowledge of payment transaction systems to include check processing, wire transfer, ACH and Card.• Demonstrable understanding of PMO and process improvement methodologies, gap analysis and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in a Retail Banking/Payments environment.• Preferred candidates will have significant financial services experience in either a multi-national bank or a professional services firm, working with multinational banking clients and should have good, generalist financial services skills, in addition to their Retail Bank expertise.• Current or recent Big 4 experience is preferred.• Candidates must have the ability to accommodate a Monday-Thursday travel schedule• Candidates must have current authorization to work in the US.Education and ExperienceAdvanced degree preferred - Sr. Business Consultant Retail Banking Ops Job (New York, NY, US)
